Pine Shavings
BAD BEDDING!
Pine shavings that are not kiln dried are very harmful. They contain aromatic oils that cause liver damage and respiratory infections. Pine is not recommended at all if not kiln dried, and should never be used.
I can not stress enough how bad and toxic pine is. Once, I accidentally got regular pine instead of kiln dried, and I lost 3 pups, even though they where on an antibiotic, they still died, and the adults noses got all red and bumpy. I will never make that mistake again. A friend of mine made the same mistake, and lost his entire litter because of respiratory infections caused by the pine shavings. Please, do not use this bedding!
